Hello, and thanks for visiting this site!
For a quick introduction, “Hey Arnold!” was a popular Nickelodeon cartoon that aired (w/ new episodes) from 1996 to 2004. Despite the fact that the series is cancelled, many fans of “Hey Arnold!” continue to produce new fanart and fanfiction for this great cartoon.
This site, created in 2008, is intended to be used as a resource for fan-artists (i.e. fanfic writers, fanart drawers, fan-video creators, ect.), and for anyone else who would like some insight into this cartoon. The site (although not yet complete) will include:
- A critical analysis of some of the character’s personalities to help fans understand the characters better
- General patterns seen in the series that make it characteristic of “Hey Arnold!”
- Explaination of some themes in the series
- Reviews of selected fanmade works
- Ideas for 6th season episodes
- Recommended fan-videos and fanfics
- Tips for drawing in the style of “Hey Arnold”
In general, the contents of this site are to help fans gain a better understanding of the cartoon, so that they are able to improve themselves as fan-artists, ect. to produce “Hey Arnold!” fanworks. Of course, don’t let its contents bog down or restrict your creativity! We like creativity!
We want to keep the contents of this site as unbiased as possible, and that’s where you, the readers, come in. If you have an opinion of the cartoon that differs from what is written on this site, please feel free to write a comment to any of the posts. But if you have a hate comment (e.g. Lila sucks), please keep it to yourself.
Also, contributing writers to this site are always welcomed. If you’d like to become one, please write a comment to this page specifically or email me at tendra.p(dot)gmail(dot)com that includes the email address of your WordPress account. I will add you as an Author (which allows you to publish/edit your own posts to this site) as soon as possible.

I think this is a really great site so far and I’ll definitely be checking back for updates! My only little crit so far is to maybe try and give the other characters/relationships some insight? I love Helga and Arnold with all my heart (and they do deserve a lot of the spotlight), but there’s more to the show than just them.
But, yeah – keep it up! :3

Loving the site so far, I do agree with Squirreltamer though, a little more variety would be wonderful. Of course we all know HxA is awesome.
Keep it up and I look forward to your updates!

Hi. I was just wondering how often you are going to be updating the site, as I REALLY want to know if there are any developments about new episodes being aired (is that just a rumor) and the jungle movie.

Hi Marilla,
Great question. The authors of this site are still alive; however, the site is now being updated on a casual basis. This means that the site will only be updated when contributing writers have something to write about.
However, that doesn’t mean that the HA! community is dead. It is still alive, in the form of several small different groups. If you check other HA! communities, such as LiveJournal, DeviantArt, YouTube, FanFiction.net, etc. you will see that there are still some HA! fans lurking around.
As for the Jungle Movie, there are always some HA! fans advocating to Nick to have it developed. If you Google “Save the Jungle Movie”, etc., you are sure to find some groups for this purpose. I am not too up to speed on what HA! fans are doing in regards to the Jungle Movie, so I unfortunately cannot help you there.
In terms of new episodes being aired, there is some activity going around, but probably in a different sense than you expected. There is currently a fan-made project called the “Hey Arnold! Sixth Season (HA6S) Project”, where fans collectively work together to create sixth season episodes in comic form. You can learn more about it at http://ha6s.wordpress.com and join us at our forums at http://ha6s.forumotion.com. This is where my focus currently is.
Hope that answered your question!
Cheers,
Tendra

Thanks for the info, Tendra! Do you have any answers for my other question posted under “The Patakis”? I asked if I was write in reading the interview with Craig as saying that though Helga and Arnold are not together in “The Patakis” they would eventually get together again, this time for good. Is that right? The wording confused me a bit!
Thanks again and I’ll be sure to check out the sites!
Cheers,
Marilla

Also, if it is true that Craig Bartlett means for them to end up together in the end, are there other sources besides the interview posted that confirm this?
Thanks!

Hi Marilla,
Yes, Arnold and Helga would eventually get together in the end. There are several hints in the show (e.g. end of episode “Married”) that point to this, in addition to hints showing that Arnold and Helga would make a compatible couple. If you go to FanFiction.net, I believe that there are some well-written essays that actually analyze certain episodes (e.g. Arnold visits Arnie episode), , and talk about how Arnold and Helga are meant to be togheter. And of course, having Craig Bartlett confirm it for us couldn’t be any more short of solid evidence!

The signals connect with concentrated nerve areas, which in turn spread the signal to the complete abdominal location.

Hi everybody! Is Craig Bartlett trying to get Nick to do Season 6 as well as the Jungle Movie? I listened to his interview and he’s sounding more hopeful about the movie, but what about another season?

They believe in direct marketing basics principles, they ‘ll create something that looks fantastic. For example, if you do not need to spend some time breaking mobile down for us. It also provides your clients with an everlasting presence in the North American licensing rights to the Beatles’ recordings, for the selling of Botox has gone far beyond cosmetics.

I’ve been browsing online more than 3 hours today,
yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty wirth
enough for me. In my opinion, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did,
the web will be much more useful than ever before.
